		<description>I don't think it's fair to call them hypocritical or liars.  It's not like it's the same ones putting up a big stink and then taking earmarks.  Instead, it's better to look at it as a party falling apart.  And moving in the wrong direction.  Our citizenry is becoming more fiscally conservative and socially liberal.

On the other hand, the vast majority of Republican politicians are going along with (or actively participating in) wasteful Democratic spending, but moving right on social issues.

I think the end of the Republican party is near (within the next 20-30 years).
